We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction for our telecommunications and wireless projects. This role includes vendor selection, on-site management, and coordination of subcontractors, OEM installers, and representatives. As a key team member, you will ensure successful delivery of projects, including tower and collocation construction, DAS and small cell installations, and both inside and outside plant construction.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Project Managers on all construction work aspects.
• Participate in vendor selection and attend deployment/customer meetings as a construction subject matter expert.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to secure service work opportunities.
• Conduct regular site visits for project oversight, including bid walks, preconstruction walks, and closeouts.
• Negotiate project costs, ensure competitive rates, and hold vendors accountable to maintain budget and project timelines.
• Identify and resolve onsite issues, making priority-based recommendations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure adherence to construction standards, processes, and safety protocols, acting as a safety observer and quality assurance representative.
• Manage project tracking systems with complete accuracy and maintain detailed project files and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications or wireless construction.
• Experience with small cell construction techniques and equipment testing (RF Sweep, OTDR, PIM).
• Knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.
• Proficient in budget development, construction management, site acquisition procedures, and blueprint interpretation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and computer proficiency (MS Office, project management software).

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $32 - $42/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
