We are seeking a highly qualified Construction Manager to lead our team of Project Managers and Superintendents across multiple projects from inception to completion. This crucial role requires a blend of project management, construction, and design expertise to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, estimates, schedules, and resources.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing individual coaching and strong leadership.
- Coordinate and oversee labor, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
- Develop and refine internal and external protocols and processes.
- Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Address and resolve issues or conflicts to keep projects on track.
- Ensure seamless integration between design and construction phases, working closely with design teams.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in design-build projects.
- Strong understanding of project management software, including MS Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
