Commercial Construction Manager
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Construction Manager to oversee their construction projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to define project specifications.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination among all stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets and financial performance. Conduct cost estimations and implement cost-control measures to ensure profitability.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting timelines as necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and client expectations through rigorous quality assurance processes.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies throughout the construction process. Promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues or risks during the construction phase and develop proactive solutions to mitigate delays and disruptions.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial construction management, with a successful track record of completed projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
