JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – WASTEWATER FACILITY REHAB – HURRICANE RECOVERY PROJECT LOCATION: ASHEVILLE, NC iParametrics is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for a critical hurricane recovery project. This position will oversee the focus on rehabilitating municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities damaged by recent hurricanes in the Western North Carolina area.
Qualified candidates who are not local to the project area will be considered. Approved travel and living expenses will be reimbursed under GSA rates. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Construction Manager on this project, you will play a crucial role in restoring essential infrastructure to affected communities. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the rehabilitation of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities damaged by recent hurricanes. This critical infrastructure project aims to restore and improve essential water services for affected communities. RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
+ Coordinate with USACE project managers, engineers, contractors, and local government officials throughout project planning and execution .
+ Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
+ Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance with project requirements .
+ Identify and resolve construction-related issues, coordinating solutions with the project team .
+ Oversee quality control processes and ensure adherence to environmental regulations .
+ Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials .
+ Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and budget tracking.
+ Implement and enforce site safety protocols in accordance with USACE and OSHA standards .
+ This position will require travel/field work for site inspections and meetings with client representatives and construction contractors.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects. Qualified work experience of 10 or more years may be substituted for the degree requirement.
+ Strong knowledge of water/wastewater facility construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations, ideally for North Carolina.
+ Prior experience with the Unites States Army Corps of Engineer water/wastewater infrastructure projects or similar DoD/Municipal Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Projects
+ Excellent project management and problem-solving skills .
+ Proficiency in project management software (Procore/Prolog). PMP certification preferred.
+ Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
+ Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution preferred.

Compensation for this position is hourly, $86,000 - $150,000, based on experience, background, and skills.
