Job Title: Construction Material Testing Technician

Location: St. Charles, MO

Pay range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr

Job Description:
We are seeking friendly and dedicated individuals to join a Construction Material Testing Technician team in St. Charles, MO. In this role, you will be actively engaged in conducting tests and inspections on various construction materials, both on-site and in our state-of-the-art materials laboratory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of tests and inspections on construction materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive written and electronic reports documenting test results and observations.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with site personnel, as well as office staff, to coordinate testing activities and address any issues or concerns.
• Provide supervision and training to less-experienced staff members, as needed, to facilitate their professional development.
• Adhere strictly to established safety procedures and standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members and project stakeholders.

Bonus Opportunity:

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in construction materials testing preferred.
• Prior experience in construction materials testing or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and report test results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment at all times.
