Construction Office Manager / Accountant - Gpac

Office Manager/Accountant:

Location: On-site Monday thru Friday in Colorado Springs, CO

Why is position open? CurrentOffice Manager/Accountant handles day to day accounting
functions as well as some finance projects–this person is wanting to cut back hours and retire
within2-4 years or so.Company uses outside CPA for taxes.

 
What does the position look like at the beginning and 5 years into employment? The position is
intended to start as an Assistant to the current Office Manager/Accountant–they will learn the
ropes of the company while also training under the Owner who acts as CFO. Overtime, the current
Office Manager/Accountant will basically become the Assistant to the Office Manager/Accountant
as she cuts down on hours–the new Office Manager/Accountantat this time will be comfortable
running day to day accounting functions as well as future finance projects.

What arethe non-negoitables for this position?
•Applicant must have strong Accounting Background (reports,payroll, billings, AP/AR, etc) as
they will be assisting in these almost immediately
•Knowledge of accrual sentries, inventory entries, & close-out is very important
•Must be proficient in Quickbooks
•Construction experience

What are the preferred qualifications?
•Accounting Degree
•Prior Controller experience
•Finance Forecasting
•Cash needs
