The Production Manager will be responsible for the entire production process of the company. They will coordinate all activities related to the construction process of jobs, in collaboration with the Project Management team. The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring that all jobs are completed on time, on budget, and with a high level of quality. The Production Manager will represent the company for all production-related items.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management and Supervision:
- Supervise Project Management team and subcontractors
- Support Leadership Team in day-to-day management of all projects
- Assign and oversee the Project Management team for each job
- Support and oversee pre-construction duties of the Project Management team
- Debug job specifications with subcontractors before project commencement
- Schedule and coordinate crews for various scopes of work
- Manage resource allocation and procurement of tools and equipment
- Contract Negotiations and Change Orders:
- Field-check job costs during contract negotiations
- Support Project Management and Estimating team in change orders management
- Review the punch list for every project
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and agreements
- Document company procedures and train employees and subcontractors
- Quality Evaluation and Compliance:
- Evaluate quality at each production step
- Ensure final plans and specifications are compliant with permits and closeout documents
- Recruit, negotiate, and develop relationships with subcontractors in every trade
- Help develop standardized products and systems, and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Enforce a clean, safe, and secure work environment
- Act as a positive representative in all communications with vendors, clients, and professional groups
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience managing all aspects of residential and/or commercial construction sites, crews, and subcontractors
- A General Contractor license
- Network of subcontractors
- Ability to travel to job sites in CT, RI, NH, NY, and NJ, is highly preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Mastery of reading and following construction documents
- Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills
- Good references attesting to your work ethic
- A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle are highly preferred
Salary and Benefits:
- Full Time
- Salary at $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience
