Ferguson Construction (FC) is a regionally established General Contractor that has been in business for over 100 years. FC has vast experience in the heavy and light industrial, commercial, healthcare, and institutional markets. Along with our in-house design department, Ferguson self performs concrete, masonry, steel erection, general carpentry, and sheet metal roofing and siding trades.
Assist Operational Staff in daily activities required for schedule, budget, and quality control measures on various construction projects. Perform daily administrative tasks and provide administrative services to office departments and/or business units.
Essential Duties:
- New Project Notice
- Compile New Project Notice information.
- Minutes for New Project Notice Meeting
- Procore
- Initiate all project set up utilizing Procore Project Management Software
- Manage the active & inactive Procore project list.
- New User integration
- Commitment Attachment generation (Contract agreements)
- Obtain and review subcontractor Schedule of Values
- Oversee submittal log processes in accordance with the requirements set forth in the contract document.
- Assemble bid packages for project potential change order pricing and review with project manager.
- Maintain project correspondence for items such as Requests for Information (RFI), Meeting Minutes, and Production Quantity Reports
- Communicate monthly project update reports.
- Assemble the closeout package including maintenance agreements, equipment information, warranties, and contractor contact information.

- Provide professional customer service and positive interactions while processing day-to-day administrative items and supporting local business unit staff.
- Perform administrative services including processing mail, overnight mailings, photocopying, filing, sending faxes, phone list updates, invoices, and order supplies and stationery (e.g., letterhead, business cards, envelopes).
- Greet visitors and staff the office's front desk.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required and knowledge of Procore preferred.
- Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

- Basic accounting and math skills are desired.
- Previous Commercial Construction experience preferred.
- High degree of detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Approachable, proactive, positive, and professional attitude
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
