Construction Project Coordinator - Gpac

Position Overview:
The Flooring Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, communicating with clients, and ensuring all materials, resources, and labor are in place for successful project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage flooring installation projects from planning through completion.
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project updates, timelines, and changes.
• Organize the procurement and delivery of materials needed for projects.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate installation of flooring products.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and assist in maintaining cost control.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure project quality and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and work orders.
• Assist in resolving project-related issues, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on job sites.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and keeping them informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the construction or flooring industry.
• Knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
