Position Overview:
As a Project Coordinator you will assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of flooring installation projects. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to keep projects running efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in the coordination and management of flooring installation projects.
- Prepare project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure materials are delivered on time.
- Communicate with clients regarding project updates, timelines, and changes.
- Assist with job costing, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within budget.
- Maintain and update project management software with accurate project details and progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on job sites.
- Address project issues and collaborate with team members to find solutions.
- Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress and address concerns.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or flooring.
- Strong understanding of construction project management processes.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques is a plus.
