Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our innovative construction projects, where you will be able to utilize your skills in ASI and subcontractor management. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our construction projects, providing support to the Project Manager and ensuring that all engineering aspects of the projects are correctly planned, designed, and executed.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project objectives, scope, and perform feasibility studies.
2. Review and interpret project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
3. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
4. Interact with subcontractors, providing clear instructions and monitoring their work for quality and adherence to time schedules.
5. Manage ASI (Architect’s Supplemental Instructions) to ensure all changes in the work are properly documented and executed.
6. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
7. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
8. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions if needed.
9. Ensure the project's compliance with all relevant legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety measures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Construction Management or related field.
2. Proficient knowledge of design and visualizations software.
3. Advanced MS Office skills.
4. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
5. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
6. Project management and supervision skills.
7. Decision making ability and leadership skills.
9. Time management and organization skills.
10. Proven experience managing ASI and working with subcontractors.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
