Construction Project Engineer - Latitude Inc

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination:
• Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure proper planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
• Monitor and track project progress, reporting on key milestones and timelines.
• Site Management:
• Attend on-site meetings, coordinating with site teams to resolve issues and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Manage site inspections, ensuring all work aligns with engineering designs and local building codes.
• Cost Management:
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
• Track project expenses and manage procurement of construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular quality checks, inspections, and audits on project deliverables.
• Ensure that materials, workmanship, and completed tasks meet specifications and standards.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, contracts, change orders, and RFI (Request for Information) logs.
• Prepare detailed project reports, including cost analysis, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Manage change orders, project submittals, and schedules.
• Collaboration:
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government agencies.
• Coordinate with the design and engineering team to resolve any design or construction conflicts.
• Ensure strong communication and alignment between all stakeholders.
