Location: 150 Brownson Lane, Driftwood, TX 78619
We are looking for a new Project Manager to plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities with the construction and maintenance of our playground surfacing systems. You will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
Co re Contributions:
- Inspect job sites prior to installation for correct measurement's, thickness, access, and compliance with ASTM, building and safety codes, and other regulations. Calcu late materials needed for installation and communicate or purchases supplies needed for job projects.
- Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. Determine labor requirements and dispatch installation crews to the construction sites with specific instructions.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to General Contractor's, administrative staff, workers and clients representing the owner or developer.
- Oversee employees with recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders in order to schedule work assignments for installation crew and obtains all necessary permits and licenses.
Essential Experiences:
- High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
- 5 years of experience as a project manager in a similar business environment ; construction background preferred
- Experience analyzing and planning workforc e utilization , design layouts and workspace for maximum safety, quality and efficiency
