Impact Recruitment is seeking a Construction Project Manager in the Boise, Idaho area.
Position Purpose: Ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of the project. Delivery of the project is defined as completed on time, on budget, the Client is retained, and there no conflicts with a subcontractor. If delivery is at risk, immediately report to Operations Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, scheduling, tracking and managing multiple construction projects.
- Scheduling to include managing CPM in Microsoft Project, updating frequently, and keeping current. Assure that Superintendents three-week short interval schedule matches CPM.
- Track all project delays and log, communicating with Client and subcontractors.
- Establish project budget from turn over package provided by estimating.
- Responsible for tracking and effectively managing all costs associated with the project to assure bid day profits are realized.
- Manage quality assurances in all aspects of project construction.
- Verify all work performed by subcontractors is acceptable before releasing payment, final payment, or retention.
- Negotiating and writing subcontract agreements and subcontractor scopes of work.
- Motivating and encouraging subcontractors.
- Evaluating, managing, and motivating job superintendents and assistant superintendents.
- Promoting and maintaining good Client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
- Managing project margins / profitability.
- Providing accounting to other departments, timely and accurate project site data, and documentation.
- Hold pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
- See that Superintendent is conducting weekly safety and schedule coordination meetings with subcontractors.
- Assure that the superintendent is conducting pre-installation meetings with subcontractors.
- Verify that equipment and installations comply with approved submittals.
- Ensure Superintendent is effectively managing the project.
- Review Superintendent Daily logs to verify completeness and accuracy.
- Manage subcontractor compliance.
- Conduct and document monthly job status review meetings with Field Ops Manager and Estimating.
- Project managers are responsible for processing tracking and distributing project documents.
- Project documents include contracts, pay applications, purchase orders, CORs, PRs, CCDs, CO, SCO, Internal COs, ASIs, RFIs, and submittals.
- Assure that extra work is approved by the Client in writing, via email, approved CO, CCD, or PR. Make sure no extra work is allowed without written authorization.
- All changes to the project are approved and documented.
- Manage construction drawing labeling, uploading, and distribution. Manage version control for all revisions to the drawing sets and make sure as-builts are being kept up to date.
- OSHA safety compliance.
- Keep project documents well organized and labeled. Manage drawing revisions and changes to assure the entire construction team is working from the most current set of construction documents.

- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, (outlook, excel, word, project, one-note) Vista and Team by Viewpoint
- Manage construction field operations in a multi-state commercial building construction company.
- Reason and think critically.
- Work effectively with Field Operations Manager, peers, staff, and project owners staff and subcontractors.
- Oversee project site safety and health management program.
- Manage site safety systems and procedures.
- Maintain, track, and compile all project site safety reports, logs, and documents.
- Enforce rules and regulations
- A degree in Construction / Project Management or a related field preferred
- Five years of experience in field construction supervision.
- Ability to travel as required.
