Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team at Renewance. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that support our battery lifecycle service solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.  
• Develop project plans that include timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead project teams to execute project plans, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, including risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks to minimize potential impacts.
• Develop contingency plans and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Resolve project issues promptly to keep projects on track.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations and quality standards.
• Successfully close projects by ensuring all deliverables are completed and accepted by stakeholders.
• Conduct project post-mortems to identify lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy, technology, or industrial sectors.
• Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project or similar).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with battery technology, energy systems, or recycling processes is a plus.
• Problem-solving: Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Travel & Location

• The position is based at Renewance HQ (321 W. Lake St Elmhurst, IL 60126). Remote locations will be considered.
• Occasional travel to customer project sites and Renewance facilities is expected.
