About the Job
Georgia-Pacific Dixie® Consumer Products Operation is seeking qualified professionals to consider for a Construction Project Manager/Engineer role supporting the Consumer Manufacturing Group located in Muskogee, OK. The Muskogee facility uses integrated technology to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkin products in a progressive production environment.
Strengths in construction, structural, commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects standards and procedures are additive to the role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated capability in project management and project executions that will lead to improved safety, quality, cost, and overall efficiency for the plant.

What You Will Do
- Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture
- Assist in the planning and design of construction projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals
- Provide technical expertise during the construction phase, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring quality
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
- Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project progress and engineering activities
- Assist in the estimation of project costs and resource allocation
- Provide building/engineering expertise to define scope of work, develop cost/ material estimate(s), design, and execute projects that lead to improved safety, quality, costs, and efficiency
- Organize and execute activities that will deliver projects as defined in the Scope of Work which includes design, construction/installation, commissioning, startup, and documentation activities.
- Supervise/monitor construction projects and installations to ensure compliance to design specifications and safety
- Support project teams in the development and implementation of projects using the Georgia-Pacific Capital Project Work Processes
- Specific knowledge of building envelope (roofing, insulation, gravity and lateral load analysis)
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience as a Building Engineer or Construction Management
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials
- Experience working within a construction, manufacturing, industrial or military environment
- Familiar with application of U.S. building codes and standards
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering or any related field
- Experience in construction engineering, preferably in industrial or large-scale projects
- Experience using Autodesk software
- Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- At least one year of project management experience
