Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager at KCP is responsible for managing multiple construction projects from initiation to completion. This role involves overseeing construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure all projects meet KCP's quality and safety standards. The Construction Project Manager ensures all work is performed according to approved procedures and documented to meet contract specifications. Travel to out-of-town job sites will be required, and regular reporting on project progress to business leaders is expected.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage general contractors and construction crews on-site.
- Ensure that all work adheres to approved manuals, procedures, and contract scope.
- Provide regular project status updates to business and market leaders.
- Coordinate and monitor project schedules, invoices, and submittals.
- Attend client meetings as necessary.
- Travel to out-of-town job sites as required.
- Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely completion of projects.
What You’ll Need:
- Prior experience in retail and commercial petroleum construction is required.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, reviewing progress, and meeting deadlines.
- Positive attitude with strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to work effectively with installation crews.
- Self-motivated, organized, and strong communication skills with both field and office staff.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
