We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to manage the overall planning, execution, and completion of our construction projects. Our ideal candidate is someone who is fully invested in delivering excellence, driving results, and creating a positive impact on our company's growth. This role will require a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full life-cycle of construction projects, from initial conception and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and completion.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk management plans, and project communication plans.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Monitor the progress of construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage and maintain project budgets, schedules, and oversee project design.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Resolve any problems that may arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delay.
- Communicate effectively with clients, construction crews and suppliers to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management role.
- Proficiency in construction project management software such as Bluebeam or Procore.
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of a construction project effectively and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and understand complex architectural and engineering drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to improving project efficiency and profitability.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
