Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Project Manager, your key responsibility will be to serve as a vital team member associated with providing administrative and technical expertise for the mechanical portion of selected projects. This position works closely with the Lead Project Manager and Project Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of the mechanical systems.
A. Pre-Construction
- Assist in scope of work preparation and pre-award interviews.
- Write mechanical bid packages.
- Provide constructability review and recommendations.
B. Construction
- Perform submittals, schedules, and budget reviews.
- Work with Quality Inspectors and review all installed work.
- Troubleshoot mechanical field problems.
- Coordinate and assist with:
- Witness systems testing
- Local building authority inspections
- Mechanical commissioning of systems.
C. Demonstrate a working knowledge of:
- Plumbing
- Process piping
- HVAC
- Fire Protection
- Medical gases
- Mechanical equipment
- Temperature controls, and other control systems
- Associated electrical systems and equipment

What it takes
- 5-10 years of construction experience in the mechanical trades, design industry , or field construction with hands-on experience installing mechanical systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 Certified
