Impact Recruitment is currently looking for a Construction Project Manager on a full-time basis to join the team of one of our growing clients based in Santa Barbara, California. Our client is one of Santa Barbara's premier builders for over 35 years.

The construction project manager will work with the principals, owners, consultants, an onsite construction team and office-based operations team to manage the project scope, budget, schedule, commitments, communication, and documentation while ensuring a high quality build and maintaining a safe jobsite.
This position requires a driven individual with a passion to build and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.

The construction project manager will work with the principals, owners, consultants, an onsite construction team and office-based operations team to manage the project scope, budget, schedule, commitments, communication, and documentation while ensuring a high quality build and maintaining a safe jobsite.

Key duties include:
- Oversee the onsite construction team
- Lead communications with clients, consultants, trades, vendors, and the internal team
- Work with onsite team and office-based operations team to manage the project budget, sub/vendor commitments, and invoices
- Proactively manage scope and schedule changes
- Maintain long term project schedule and short term, “look ahead” schedules
- Manage Project Documentation
- Manage Shop Drawings, RFIs, and Submittals
- Coordinate and lead weekly project meetings with design team and client. Document all meeting minutes
- Ensure daily logs and photos are uploaded into Procore daily
- Ensure jobsite safety and organization
- Ensure all building department and 3rd party inspections are completed as required
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Custom Residential Construction Project Management Experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate drawings
- Experience with:
- Procore
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Microsoft Project
- Adobe Acrobat
