We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a $70M multifamily project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale multifamily projects, with a keen understanding of the financial aspects of construction management. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a high-profile construction project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the $70M multifamily construction project. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities.
2. Directly dealing with subcontractors to ensure quality work is done on time and within budget.
3. Utilizing PROCORE for financial management, including tracking project costs, managing contracts, and forecasting financial trends.
4. Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule and communicating updates and changes to all stakeholders.
5. Conducting risk management to minimize project risks and handle any potential issues that may arise.
6. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
7. Creating a comparison excel document to provide a detailed analysis of project financials.
8. Managing the scope of work and buyout of the project in PROCORE.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry.
2. Previous experience managing $50M+ multifamily construction projects.
3. Proficiency in using PROCORE for financial management and project management.
4. Strong experience dealing directly with subcontractors.
5. Extensive knowledge and experience in multifamily/podium construction.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. A proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliver high-quality projects on time.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
