Commercial Construction Project Manager 

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team.  Our company works in the Healthcare industry specializing in construction for oncology departments. This role does have a travel component to it, you will be traveling around 35% of the time to job sites nationwide.  

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee budgets for construction projects.
• Organization, scheduling, and implementation of projects
• Management of subcontractors, scheduling, and field construction oversight
• Travel up to 35% including overnight stay
• Procurement and logistics for concurrent construction projects
• Work with contracts and estimating departments 
• Communicate with owners, general contractors, and stakeholders 
• Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures
• Establish project labor requirements
• Conduct project inspections and address concerns
• Coordinates work with subcontractors  
• Coordinates with architects, inspectors, and client representatives 
• Conduct safety meetings and monitor project to assure procedures are followed
• Oversight of project quality control
• Support cross functional team initiatives
• Close communication with sales team
• Develop relationships with key contacts in order to develop deeper insights to how we can better support our customers 
• Strong leadership skills, positive attitude and a servant leadership mindset

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Construction Management experience
• Ability to interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
• Strong working knowledge of project management software
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines

Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:

• PMP Certification 
• NetSuite experience
