- Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all facets of custom home construction and will work closely with the Job Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of custom home projects. This position is primarily office-based but will require periodic on-site visits to ensure project milestones are met and to coordinate with the superintendent, trades, and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage custom home construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the Job Superintendent on job schedules, trade coordination, and material ordering and delivery.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices.
- Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and accessible for auditing and future reference.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the construction process.
- Provide regular updates to customers on project status and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Work closely with the Job Superintendent to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the office and the job site.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring all trades and materials are coordinated effectively.
- Conduct periodic on-site visits to ensure project progress and quality.
- Meet with the superintendent and/or customers on-site as needed to discuss project details and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in custom home construction.
- Proven experience in project management, including budget and document control.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 85k/year
