Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain safe and clean work sites.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government authorities, suppliers, and staff.
- Manage project teams and provide guidance and motivation to ensure team members are working effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial and industrial construction project management.
- Proven experience with Tilt Wall and Tilt Up construction techniques.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Experience in office construction and Tenant Improvements (TI) is essential.
- Familiarity with South Florida building industry and Miami Dade County building requirements is preferred.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in construction project management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is an advantage.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
