About the Job
- Manage the Corporate Construction build process for new office, lab, clean rooms and existing office space on campus.
Collaborate with and guide internal customers on appropriate design and construction choices.
Create project schedules, track and communicate major milestones.
Proactively communicate with management and end users on build schedule, budget and option selections.
Prepare, review and approve RFPs and contractor bids in conjunction with other staff.
Manage the Corporate Construction procurement process for new and existing office sites.
Work effectively on multiple projects in parallel.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Construction Management.
• Experience with construction of new Medical Device plants
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or related discipline highly desired.
• Strong negotiation skills in securing specific vendors and key contractual terms & conditions which meet the company’s business requirements.
• Solid knowledge of all aspects of corporate construction including service and supply procurement, construction and business operations.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
