Our Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection group assists in all levels of federal, public, private, and international organizations by offering planning and construction services for transportation systems that reflect community needs. Project Description: The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works has awarded our team the contract to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the new South-Dade Bus Maintenance Facility located on a 20-acre site located at SW 127 Ave and Biscayne Drive. The Project will include a two-story maintenance and operations facility with approximately 54k s.f. for maintenance parts storage and approximately 27k s.f. for dispatch, driver, and training areas. Bus parking deck will house approximately 100 articulated Battery Electric Buses.
Supporting document control efforts, room coordination, and other electronic systems as determined by project.
Implementing systems for monitoring documentation and communications from both internal and external clients.
Ensuring compliance with tracking requirements in accordance with approved procedures
Supporting the receipt, tracking, and monitoring of documents through standard document management programs.
Documenting deficiencies between design and execution of construction.
Performing additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or Vocational Technical degree or equivalent. 2 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or good understanding of ProjectWise, Bluebeam (pdf) and SharePoint.
Construction phase project type delivery
Industry construction management / inspection software

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English. Basic knowledge of arithmetic. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new computer, smartphone or related applications and programs. Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction. Ability to read, understand, interpret and explain construction plans and drawings, contract provisions, and specifications. Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction.
