IES Residential is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our West Coast operations out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current OSHA safety policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a robust safety culture within our team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Site Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections on job sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Promote Safety Culture: Collaborate with IES Residential management to cultivate a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Conduct Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, ensuring they are informed about best practices and safety procedures.
- Lead Safety Meetings: Facilitate safety meetings to address safety concerns, review incidents, and discuss improvements.
- Investigate Incidents: Investigate all workplace injuries and vehicle accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for prevention.
- Engage with OSHA Inspections: Participate in OSHA site inspections and ensure that all required documentation and procedures are in place.
- Communicate Policies: Effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to both management and field employees.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role.
- Certifications: First Aid CPR Instructor certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Communication: Strong public speaking skills and the ability to clearly convey safety information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
