JMT's Project Controls team is seeking a Construction Scheduler for their Corporate office in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling of various construction projects.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00. Salary range is based upon background, education, level of experience and project assignment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Tracks the status of critical activities impacting the project
- Monitors program milestones and interdependencies
- Analyzes project planning, schedule updates and delays
- Provides alerts on items impacting the project schedule
- Identifies the critical path and suggests alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
- Develop strategies for negotiating claims
- Provides technical support in claims litigation
- Write and prepare technical reports
- Attend meetings and lead discussions on project status
Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Proficient with Asta Power Project and Primavera Project Management 6.0
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Excel
- Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
- Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
- Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle Screening
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related technical field
- Professional certification in AACE, CMAA, PMI, or PSP preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Construction Management experience preferred
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
