About the Job
The Site Clerk’s job is to support the construction site staff and crew by completing most of the required administrative tasks. This part-time contract position starts at 7 am to 12 pm and requires the clerk to be onsite Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday. The contract will begin on or about April 9th, 2024, and lasts until the end of August/early September. We are offering $18.00 per hour with the possibility of a bonus at the end of the contract. The ideal candidate is a college student or someone looking for part-time work. The construction site location is Callawassie Island Club, with an office trailer on site.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collect and accurately log all packing slips, material delivery tickets, fuel deliveries, and report crew hours.
- Daily communication with on-site staff and administrative office staff (off-site).
- Attending site meetings and recording minutes.
- Provide administrative support to on-site project managers with reminders on due dates/communications/meetings/supplies and or materials being delivered etc.
Required Skills:
- Must have an eye for attention to detail, there will be a lot of materials to keep track of and daily recording to be done in this position.
- Must be dependable and responsible, the site project managers will depend on you for daily assistance.
- Outgoing and tenacious, retrieving daily paperwork from suppliers and staff will require you to go out to the site and collect delivery tickets or confirm delivery.
- Strong computer skills both administrative and technical, programs include MS Office 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Adobe Acrobat. The basic troubleshooting will be for printing, scanning, downloading/uploading video, pictures, GPS data, and more.
Education and Experience:
- Postsecondary diploma or equivalent.
- Previous administrative experience is desired.
- An understanding of golf courses i.e. layout and basic knowledge.
- Being bilingual in Spanish would be an asset.
