We are currently seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to lead on-site operations and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Overview:
The Superintendent will oversee all on-site activities of ground-up construction projects, ensuring smooth coordination of labor, materials, and schedules. This role is critical in delivering successful projects by maintaining high safety standards, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all on-site construction activities for ground-up projects, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure tasks are completed according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate daily site logistics, equipment, and material deliveries.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor progress, identify issues, and keep the project on schedule.
- Review project drawings and specifications, providing input to resolve issues as needed.
- Manage inspections, quality control, and punch-list completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and engineers, acting as the primary point of contact for on-site issues.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up construction, with a focus on K-12, healthcare, industrial, or retail projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site personnel effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
