About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent specializing in Masonry and Stucco to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and stucco applications, demonstrating leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards for masonry and stucco work.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Team Leadership:
- Provide effective leadership to construction teams, including subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and costs related to masonry and stucco work.
- Identify and address budgetary issues promptly.
Materials Procurement:
- Oversee the procurement of masonry and stucco materials.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate contracts.
Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for masonry and stucco construction activities.
- Conduct regular safety meeting sand inspections.
Progress Reporting:
- Generate regular progress reports for project stakeholders.
- Communicate updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
Problem Resolution:
- Address and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Record changes, approvals, another relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in masonry and stucco projects as well as exterior facades.
- Experience with weather barrier, siding, scaffold, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
