About the Job
We are seeking a deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee our commercial flooring projects and act as the link between various project parties. The Construction Superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team, ensuring all work is completed successfully. This position reports directly to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
- Coordinate and oversee all work on site.
- Attend production meetings.
- Project Oversight:
- Review and become familiar with the schedule and budget, ensuring adherence to these.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Place orders for materials and be responsible for equipment and materials on site.
- Follow the project timeline to meet deadlines.
- Receive deliveries, ensure all products are accounted for and undamaged.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Monitor on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain records for site personnel (daily field reports, field orders, RFIs).
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, subcontractors, and other staff.
- All work is performed in accordance with government laws and regulations.
- Confidentiality and Innovation:
- Maintain client and company information confidentiality.
- Quantify, test, and improve innovations, documenting for routine implementation.
- Budget and Documentation:
- Monitor project budgets and costs for profitability.
- Coordinate and manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Communication and Closeouts:
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities align with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate installer crews, meetings, and materials.
Superintendent Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a construction superintendent, flooring specific is a plus
- Proficient with MS Office Word Excel and MS Teams, experience with Project HQ a plus.
- Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment.
- Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
Fluent in Spanish a plus

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 Annual
