Construction Superintendent - RYVAN Recruiting

RYVAN Recruiting is looking for a Construction Superintendent  who will be responsible for managing key client projects between Tampa and Naples. The Construction Superintendent will assist the Project Managers with the coordination and completion of multiple Division 5 construction projects with a focus on custom metal fabrication to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and scope as well as assisting in meeting deadlines, assign responsibilities to subcontractors, and monitor and update the progress of the project. The Superintendent must be able to travel between locations and some overnights may be required.  

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget
• Prepare reports for management regarding the status of a project.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Oversee project plans to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements 
• Track project performance and analyze the successful completion of goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Requirements:

• 4+ years working experience in project management within the Construction Industry 
• Division 5 - Miscellaneous Metals preferred 
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Proficient with multi-unit, commercial and residential projects
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
