Construction Superintendent - Scott Humphrey Corporation

About the client:

• You are applying for a role we are looking to fill for a client of ours.
• Our client is a commercial construction General Contractor with an office in Tulsa, OK.
• Projects are local or within a 25-30 minute drive
• Company vehicles can be provided as an additional benefit to qualified candidates

The ideal candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.
• Will have good references from former General Contractors they've worked directly for
• Is local to the Tulsa or surrounding area. CLIENT IS NOT INTERESTED IN PAYING PER DIEM TO CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF THE TULSA AREA OR A REASONABLE COMMUTING DISTANCE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of construction projects
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a commercial construction Superintendent
• Project list includes ground up and renovation work on commercial projects directly for a General Contractor
• Project experience should include projects $3M+ in value
• Ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
