Job Purpose:
The Construction Support Specialist (CSS) is a vital position that coordinates preconstruction project information and documentation, including contracts, estimates, proposals and budgets. The CSS is responsible for supporting and maintaining maximum accuracy in the project information life cycle from Business Development, Estimating, Budgeting, Contract / Proposal coordination through to project setup with handoff to accounting.
The ideal candidate will progress to Assistant Manager’s Role within the Internal Support Team. Future advancement is available to strong candidates that become a proven part of the CROM team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- CRM (Deltek VantagePoint) project status updates/project assignments.
- Assist with team coordination in document processing.
- Assist with team coordination of project tracking and setup.
- Use of Accounting system (Deltek Costpoint) for project review, project status and personal time tracking.
- Process change orders and budget adjustments.
- Maintain pending contracts status reviews.
- Assist in SOP updates as needed.
- Assist in template maintenance as needed.
- Assist in Active Management and EPIR tracking.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AS Degree, or 5+ years of related experience, in finance, accounting, construction management, engineering or related fields.
- Strong / Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong Computer / File Management skills.
- Prior Experience with Accounting and/or CRM software systems.
- MS Word or similar product experience.
- PDF document editing.

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

- Prior team or department management experience.

Working Conditions:
This position will require some interaction with outside customers, owners, engineers, and contractors, as well as CROM personnel. Opportunities for additional training and advancement will be provided.
