Construction Tradesman
Sterling, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st shift
Rate of Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 based on experience
We are hiring construction tradesman in your area. As a construction tradesman you will be instrumental in the fabrication, modification, and assembly of customized structures. This role combines craftsmanship with creativity to build functional office spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and modify shipping containers to create functional and aesthetically pleasing facilities, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
- Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, welding, framing, and installing insulation, flooring, doors, and other parts.
- Execute custom designs according to client specifications, incorporating features like HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and specialized equipment.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the construction process to Company standards.
- Perform on-site installation and assembly of container facilities
- Maintain accurate records

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, and structural design principles.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and construction machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in electrical, welding, carpentry, or construction trades.
- Experience with modular construction or container-based projects.
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate solutions for unique project requirements.
Pull wire and cable through conduits and raceways according to project specifications. Knowledge of low voltage, CAT 6 wiring Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
