Constructive Simulation Specialist (Federation Manager) - Nemean Solutions

Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Constructive Simulation Functional Operators (Military Training Specialist)

Background:

Position Summary

This is a Constructive Simulation Specialist (Federation Manager) position at the GSC, National Simulation Center, at Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.

• Identify and quickly troubleshoot problems on federate systems (co-located and at remote sites), RTI infrastructure software, client system software and networking
• Serve as a manager of the JLCCTC Federation and as a communications hub for multiple simultaneous events
• Advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regards to JLCCTC capabilities
• Ensures all exercise databases are complete, accurate, functional and on time

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (IS, IT, or associated discipline) / Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems; working knowledge of SQL and DB operations
• 5 years experience within the past 10 years, in planning simulation exercise architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, and integration of Army Mission Command Systems in support of distributed exercises.
• 5 years experience in information technology management.
• Knowledge and experience to appropriately advise government representatives on technical recommendations and timelines with regards to JLCCTC capabilities.
• Experience with managing multiple simultaneous events
• DoD IAT II Certification
• Possess a US SECRET Security Clearance
• Be a US Citizen

Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.

Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.

Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
