Consultant, BSD/RPC Fleet - Office Depot

Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

• The Consultant – BSD/RPC Fleet, Productivity, and Quality Assurance is responsible for leading all aspects of RPC Fleet Operations, inclusive of: Vendor Management, Service Management & Review, Logistics, Productivity, and Utilization. This position ensures that all aspects of our RPC Digital Print Production Assets are optimally leveraged and properly managed.
• In addition, this Consultant leads the BSD/RPC Production Performance through ongoing and timely Reporting and Analytics. This position ensures maximum productivity for Equipment, Consumables, and Labor Utilization, as well as, provides ongoing analysis of Quality Assurance and overall Service Delivery.
• Manage all Production Equipment and Vendor Support for BSD/RPC Manufacturing Operations. Maintain all documentation to ensure complete library of up to date information surrounding manufacturing fleet.
• Conduct ongoing Analysis of Capacity, Productivity, and Utilization of BSD RPC assets. Ensure that max-min utilization is a constant focus for Sales, Support, and Operations personnel. Partner with BSD Print Leadership to establish performance thresholds and targets.
• Manage ongoing Quality Assurance Reporting & Analytics to ensure Top Level Performance across the Network. Analyze Done Right/On Time and VOTC performance trends and prepare real-time reports for BSD Print Leadership.
• Partner with current & prospective vendor-partners, as well as Merchandising Team, to identify and evaluate opportunities for new products and services.
• Lead RPC Network optimization efforts and logistics details to ensure that each facility maintains the best mixture of capabilities to ensure growth and profitability.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in Digital Print & Services Industry
• Certifications in Project Management are a plus
• Strong skills surrounding complex spreadsheet and database management.
• Must possess the ability to compile and analyze data streams
• Must be able to present analytical findings to leadership and management level personnel
• Ability to manage nationally-scaled vendor-partners
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and Quality Assurance Environments
• Understanding of database structure and operational practices
• Skilled with MS Excel and Access Applications
• Experienced with ERP Procurement and Payables Applications
• Great attention to details, analytical, strong ability to present complex data in simple business formats.
• Strong knowledge of basic Business Applications such as: MS Office Apps, InDesign, and PDF
