Job Description
This team is inherited many legacy applications from other teams within Liberty. There was very little documentation and information shared about these legacy systems/applications. This team is currently reviewing all of these systems/application and is looking for 2 contractors to join this effort. They are not necessarily interested maintaining old code, but to rather help migrate or decommission or make other recommendation. There may be some Word documentation for the application, but most likely not. These people will need to be very independent and ideally have worked on a migration/decommission effort. Since the legacy systems have multiple technology stack, it is important for this person to have a solid understanding of the Java stack, Spring Boot framework and *hopefully* knowledge of .NET as some code is in Microsoft stack.

- As such, exposure to many disparate systems may be required
- Resourcefulness will be a required attribute as some systems may be minimally documented.
- Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer developers to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Analyze technical system problems, and design and implement effective solutions.
- Handle end-to-end development, including coding, testing, and debugging during each cycle.
- Investigate components of new tools and technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Create applications using a server side framework (e.g. Spring, NodeJS etc.)
- .NET experience a plus
- Data migration/validation
