Job Description:
- Working with business analysts for requirement gathering (BRD), business analysis, and translating the business requirements into technical specifications to build the Enterprise data warehouse.
- Developing mappings for fact and dimension tables using the various transformations to extract data from different source databases Oracle, DB2 and Mainframe files.
- Designing and developing complex ETL
- Creating Workflows in Informatica using various tasks like sessions, events raise, event wait, decision, e-mail, command, worklets, Assignment, working on scheduling of the workflows and using mapping parameters and variables.
- Developing UNIX Shell Scripts for running Informatica workflows and sessions (pmcmd commands), File manipulations, housekeeping functions and SFTP utility program.
- Working on scheduling Informatica ETL workflows using Tivoli (TWS) Scheduler
- Preparing mapping specification document, which gives the data flow and transformation logic for populating each column in the data warehouse table.
- Using debugger to analyze the data flow between source and target to fix the data issues.
- Creating the release requests for QA Builds to include all the release requirements and involved in the implementation of QA, UAT and Production releases.
