The CFPB Analyst (Enforcement) assists Enforcement management and staff attorneys in a variety of very complex activities and functions necessary to effectuate the Bureau's enforcement mission.

Responsibilities
As a Consumer Financial Protection Analyst (Enforcement) you will:
- Work across managerial and functional lines of authority, frequently leading novel legal research and analytical projects
- Prepare issue papers, reports, memoranda, correspondence, court documents, and other materials for enforcement staff and management decision making regarding investigations of and litigation against entities within Bureau authority, which may involve novel, sensitive, and very complex topics related to consumer financial protection legal issues, the Bureau's enforcement strategy to respond to them, and the Bureau's overarching enforcement priorities.
- Partner on the design and maintenance of enforcement data and analytics tools and systems. Provide leadership executing on and in identifying gaps, emerging needs, and proposed improvements in tracking, reporting, matter and records management, and the enforcement process.
- Participate on- and off-site in complex enforcement investigatory and litigation activities, such as reviewing materials received and formulating recommendations for enforcement staff, preparing or reviewing responses, conducting interviews, synthetizing and organizing materials, preparing for, attending, and testifying in hearings, and other essential tasks.
