Consumer Financial Regulatory Associate Attorney - Direct Counsel, LLC

Position: Consumer Financial Regulatory Associate - Mid-Level
Location: Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Seattle

Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-level associate attorney with a minimum of four years’ experience in regulatory matters to join a leading Financial Services Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience with consumer financial regulations, including those related to payments and credit products at the state and federal levels, as well as unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws. Strong communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to client service. Experience in emerging platforms/FinTech, mortgage lenders/services, cryptocurrency, and other digital assets is a plus, though prior law firm experience is not required. Candidates must be a member of a local bar in good standing.

Salary:
The annualized salary range for this position in New York City, Washington D.C., and other locations is $205,000 to $330,000, adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
