Job Summary: The Consumer Insight Strategist will shape marketing strategies by analyzing consumer data and market trends. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate consumer insights into actionable recommendations to drive product development, marketing, and engagement efforts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape within the cannabis industry
- Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to understand consumer needs, attitudes, and behaviors
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and trends that will inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations
- Create and present detailed reports and presentations on consumer insights and market findings to key stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry developments, emerging trends, and regulatory changes that could impact consumer behavior
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of consumer insights with overall business objectives
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years in consumer insights, market research, or a related field in consumer goods.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with cannabis industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment.
