Title: Consumer Lending Service Advisor - Onsite
Location: Johnston, RI
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Hours and Work Schedule:
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Work Schedule: start times vary from mid-morning to 330pm. 8 hour shifts. One weekend day is required.
Job Description:
- Serve as an advocate on behalf of applicants/customers to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service within the Consumer Unsecured Merchant Financing team.
- The advocate will be responsible for explaining/offering appropriate service/support solutions and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen customer and partner relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and respond to customer inquiries by actively listening to determine their needs.
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding credit decisions based on submitted applications.
- Track all calls from applicants/customers and Merchant partner locations using a tracker, while documenting all expressions of dissatisfaction in our system of record.
- Ensure daily work is completed in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Adhere to Call Quality and Operational standards and expectations.
- Assist with any additional duties required to meet business line needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of world-class customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Quick learner with the ability to acquire new knowledge and concepts rapidly.
- Efficiently and effectively identify and resolve issues for customers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate through difficult situations.
- Team player.
