About the Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced, detail oriented individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to fill the role of our Consumer Loan Advisor.
The Consumer Loan Advisor will present loan products and service solutions to applicants that best meet their financial needs and to mitigate loan fraud.
The Consumer Loan Advisor is responsible for timely and accurately originate, process, disburse and fund all types of Consumer (non-Mortgage) lending products within applicable regulatory standards and credit union policy and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years financial institution or related experience, including experience selling and cross-selling products or services in a financial institution;
- Ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish speaker helpful
- Highly organized and attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-tasks, be proactive and have the ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously
- Must be a team player who is flexible and dependable.
- PC Proficiency (Excel and Word).
- Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations
