Content is the heart of what Qnary provides to customers, written in their tone of voice and scheduled to share, upon their approval, across online channels like LinkedIn, X, Threads, and Medium, as well as websites, Wikipedia, and other platforms.
WHO YOU ARE
As Content Director, you will ensure that every piece of content produced meets Qnary’s standards of quality and aligns with the strategic goals of the end customer while driving efficiency. Content that is both “excellent and efficient” is a critical component of the role, as is providing leadership for the content department and building a culture of continuous improvement, creative innovation, and a productive and healthy partnership with cross functions of the business.
Qnary content is shared with our customers through our proprietary technology, the Qnary app and portal. Working with the technology, and helping to shape it to better optimize the service is an important component of the role.
Qnary customers work directly with Customer Success Managers (CSMs). CSMs are responsible for working with both their customers and writers, through the Qnary portal, to ensure content is meeting the objectives, tone of voice, and building engagement. There is a strong partnership component between Content, Technology, and Customer Success management teams and leadership.

Quality at Scale - You are enthusiastic and skilled at crafting and executing strategies, processes, and workflows that elevate both quality and efficiency.
Multi-media, multi-platform - You can oversee both copy-based content as well as graphics, to tell professional stories and build audiences for executives. You can oversee and direct content that is told “expertly” about various industry areas but is still commonly understood and can garner engagement from an audience.
Social media savvy - You are enthusiastic about social media networks and the power of telling your story and owning your narrative. You are curious and constantly thinking about innovative ways to create and share content online.
Leading a team - You are eager and passionate to lead a culture of confident content creators who excel at creating excellent and efficient content for some of the smartest minds in the business world.
Partnering with key stakeholders - You are confident in your vision and leadership to work closely with key stakeholders including the Chief Technology Officer, Customer Success Director, COO and CEO to partner and coordinate efforts. You understand how your department connects with the whole of the business and does not work in isolation but holistically. You are committed to working with shared leadership in cross-functional teams.
Ready for AI; comfortable learning technology - You are comfortable working with proprietary technology and have a POV on AI as it relates to content creation.
Deadline-oriented - Like a newsroom, Qnary works on weekly editorial cycles and produces content at deadline. You have strong time management, prioritization and attention to detail skills.
Experience
5+ years of leading a content team, journalism, or editorial experience.
2+ years of management experience
