Content Marketing Manager (AR/VR)
Location: 100% Work From Home (1 time a month into LA Office); Must be co-located in LA.
Schedule: ~ 6 Months (possibility of extension depending)
Pay: Up to $80/hour DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Content Marketing Manager ideally with a background in AR/VR marketing to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 6 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and needs to have someone in the LA area as there is a monthly meeting onsite required.
Content Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop the marketing strategy and handle execution for the AR/VR/MR product space.
- Work with internal and cross-functional teams across programming, media, content, PR, comms, social, and more to help drive marketing experiences within the platform.
- Manage project scopes, deadlines, and timelines to ensure the quality of output meets the necessary requirements.
- Oversee campaigns from inception through the post-launch engagement and monitor results.
- Pull together KPIs, reporting, and results on campaign performances to then optimize for better results.
- Manage outside partnerships and day-to-day communications as it relates to campaigns.
- Develop internal documentation, templates for promotional plans for content launches, and other materials that help workflows.
- Help develop light copy and photo work as needed for marketing promotions.
- Create strategies and oversee campaigns that impact social, community marketing, digital media, paid marketing, production, and content.
- Ensure that all campaigns meet the tone/ brand/ and guidelines and strategy before being launched.
Content Marketing Manager Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience of relevant work experience in marketing, content, digital production or media.
- Must have exposure and experience working in AR/VR/MR.
- Ideal background is experience in the technology space, entertainment space, gaming, consumer trends.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a highly matrix'd organization.
- Working experience with Adobe Photoshop, Content Management Systems, and HTML.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
