Overview:Future opportunity for a Content Marketing Manager! While this role is not currently open, we are always looking to connect with talented professionals like yourself for upcoming opportunities.
As the Content Marketing Manager, you ensure the timely and effective implementation of all core content marketing plans. This includes project management for core content creation, distribution and program measurement, for national surveys, trends reports, magazine-style articles/publications, infographics, website content and related deliverables. Channel distribution includes marketing automation (email) campaigns, websites, national webinars, digital advertising, public relations and social media, to name a few.
You will regularly assess and support annual planning, settling the best approach to core content alignment and positioning alongside sales goals and target market needs. You will help drive the content strategy for the division (core content, practice, industry vertical thought leadership) seeking to improve and innovate our content marketing efforts. You will deploy the project management resources to deliver and execute on the marketing programs.
How you'll make an impact:- Drive content strategy, develop and deliver content marketing programs for the division, regions, practices and industry verticals including an editorial calendar (reports, surveys, webinars, whitepapers, etc.), and the supporting paid, earned and owned media programs
- Own project plans, timing and budgeting for core content
- Champion value proposition and positioning for Organizational Wellbeing consulting solutions throughout all content
- Understand where our revenue comes from and identify untapped opportunities in order to ensure content supports driving toward those targets
- Develop lead generation programs in collaboration with regional, practice and industry vertical marketing leads, regional marketing, campaign management and marketing automation teams
- Ensure appropriate marketing program tracking and KPIs are established and deliver regular reporting on program effectiveness
- Partner with in-house creative agency, marketing automation, web and social media teams to integrate key messaging and positioning through all collateral materials and provide strategic direction empowering teams to develop copy for marketing communications deliverables including, email and web content, case studies, newsletters, brochures, and other materials as needed
- Coordinate the approval process with internal and external partners for project deliverables
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field and 7 years related experience.
Highly Preferred:
- Excellent writing skills, both technical and narrative
- Experience developing and leading project plans and editorial calendars including content releases, marketing program delivery and execution
- Experience collecting details on market dynamics, client needs and technology, and using this knowledge to build compelling content that highlights the value of a service offering
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading direct reports
