Who We Are Looking For
The Content Marketing Editor, Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the creation, optimization, and distribution of high-quality editorial content across various channels. You will manage the editorial calendar, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure all content aligns with brand voice and SEO best practices. This role requires exceptional editorial skills and a strong ability to manage content production from concept to completion while ensuring it drives organic growth and engages target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Optimization:
- Lead the development of editorial content such as blogs, articles, pricing guides, and other materials designed to drive organic traffic.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and audience engagement objectives.
- Continuously optimize existing content by identifying areas for improvement, refreshing outdated materials, and enhancing overall performance.
- Complete 100% of monthly content production tasks, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Editorial Calendar & Project Management:
- Own the editorial calendar, ensuring content production is aligned with broader marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Communications teams to coordinate content releases and ensure alignment with company updates and launches.
- Manage large cross-functional content projects, driving them to timely completion and ensuring they meet business goals.
- Content Quality & Standards:
- Maintain a high standard of content quality, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and style across all editorial pieces.
- Provide editorial feedback to junior writers and content creators, mentoring them to ensure continuous improvement in writing and content quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing, applying them to editorial processes and strategies.
- SEO & Performance Tracking:
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO insights to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
- Monitor content performance using tools like GA4, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console, making data-driven recommendations for content optimization.
- Implement on-page SEO updates and meta changes to improve content rankings and ensure SEO alignment with the latest algorithm changes.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with designers, writers, and marketing leadership to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
- Communicate progress, updates, and any potential roadblocks to cross-functional teams and leadership, ensuring alignment on content initiatives.
- Present performance insights and content progress to stakeholders, providing recommendations for future strategies and content opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial roles, or SEO content creation.
- Proven ability to create high-quality editorial content that aligns with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Experience managing editorial calendars and overseeing content production processes.
- Proficient in content performance tools like GA4, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and their application to content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial standards.
- Ability to adapt content strategies based on performance insights and market trends.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in Clutch's annual performance bonus program and any applicable incentives, which will be communicated during the hiring process.
Salary at Clutch is determined based on factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, and market. For this position, we expect a base salary range between $65,000 and $85,000.
