About the Job
As a Marketing Specialist, with a primary focus on content , you will lead the community management of our social media platforms, as well as the development and delivery of content marketing and communications programs.
You will support a broad range of digital and traditional marketing initiatives, with specific emphasis on creating, editing, producing and optimizing content in support of marketing and business initiatives and brand development. Responsibilities will encompass concept development through execution and includes websites, collateral, presentations, and multi-media.
The Nuts and Bolts
- Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells and simply provides information, across a wide variety of digital platforms in order to generate results, with a strong focus on social network content & engagement.
- Lead and write content, working collaboratively with the marketing team and internal subject matter experts (engineering, customer service, sales, parts, etc.) that may include creation for website, content landing pages, blogs, video scripts, long-form articles, manuals and emails.
- Provide support for marketing programs, communications, campaigns and initiatives; ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Use your knowledge of SEO and content development to create digital content that helps us get found via search engines and showcases our company as a leader in the industry.
- Lead the development of content for marketing initiatives that support business objectives, including copywriting, editing, proofing, and production for a wide variety of collateral; develop presentations for sales enablement.
- Assist in the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, including maintaining an e-mail marketing calendar and customer newsletters, as well as copywriting, tagging and deploying approved emails to customers, distributors, and dealers.
- Support internal communications through development and publication of company newsletters, communications etc.
- Coordinate, develop and maintain physical and digital marketing literature and technical collateral including tracking content updates, monitoring inventory and usage, writing, editing, and proofing.
- Develop, contribute to, and maintain a Marketing content library; tag, catalog and manage all assets including, but not limited to images, videos, article, ads, digital collateral, etc.
Required Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Rations or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a performance driven marketing organization
- More than 3 years' experience creating marketing content in a B2B and B2C environment
- Demonstrated experience managing corporate social media accounts , including post creation and community management and reporting
